The exhibition of works of decorative, applied and jewellery arts from the Kaliningrad Regional Amber Museum's collection works in the Yaroslavl Museum and Reserve. The exposition presents various samples of the Baltic gem. They are different in their weight, form, colours, transparency. The stones with vegetable and animal inclusions can recreate flora and fauna of the "amber" forest which existed 40-50 million years ago. There are also artworks of the eminent masters of jewellery and stone-carving art at the exhibition "Gold of Baltics".
One can say without exaggeration, amber unites people all over the world: artists, masters, experts and admirers of this amazing material – the witness of the living past.
