From 28 June to 9 September an exhibition "Vegetative Motives in the Artistry of Russian Modern Masters" from the state collection will be shown in the Amber Museum.

There are over 30 artworks created within the period from the late 1970s until 2015 by authors from Saint Petersburg and Kaliningrad and dedicated to the vegetative world of our planet. Among them are work by such famous amber masters as Ernest Lis, Natalia Lapinus, Elena Gradinarova, Liubov Serebriakova, and others.

The artworks by Russian modern masters will show various ideas, approaches, methods, ways of interpretation of the general theme "botany". The possibility to juxtapose specific character of realisation of floreale motives in the works by artists presented at the competition exhibition "BOTANICA" within the International Biennial "Alatyr 2019" and "Vegetative Motives in the Artistry of Russian Modern Artists" creates circumstances to form aesthetic and analytic experience both for experts, and the wide audience.

The exhibition will be open during the whole summer.
