Amber Museum's exhibition at the Sochi festival

From 14 to 22 October there is a 19th World Festival of Youth and Students in Sochi. At request of the Agency for Youth Affairs, supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Kaliningrad oblast the Amber Museum has presented showpieces from private collections of artists and masters of the region at the exhibition pavilion dedicated to our region. The exposition includes stone-carved works, mass production, various in form and colour samples of the sunstone and amber with inclusions.
Guests and participants of the festival were able to see a work by Kaliningrad amber artist Nikolai Kotov – clock "Art Déco", compositions "Queen Louise Church" and "The Spasskaya Tower" from the collection of Boris Zhukovskiy.
Curators of the exhibition are specialist in exposition and exhibition work Elena Zaitseva and specialist in museum collection registration of the Amber Museum Tatiana Zanko.
Also as part of the Kaliningrad youth delegation our colleagues went to Sochi, they underwent the competitive selection to be members of the festival, – specialist in educational work, head of the work group of the project "Accessibility" Ekaterina Mashegirova and specialist in exposition and exhibition work of the Amber Museum Marina Bezukh.
