Exhibition of the Amber Museum at the Amberforum – 2019

At the Amberforum – 2019 the Amber Museum is going to present a unique exhibition of inclusions in Baltic amber and a new demonstration equipment.

From 20 to 23 June in Svetlogorsk the Fourth International Economic Forum of Amber Industry  Amberforum – 2019 is held. In the congress hall of the Variety Theatre "Amber Hall"within an exhibition of amber producers the Kaliningrad Regional Amber Museum is going to present the collection of inclusions from the state collection. Among them are inclusions of arachnids and insects that inhabited amber forest 40 million years ago. There will be also imprints of leaves of plant in amber, two fragments of a fossilised tree and a rock from the not-amber-bearing strata having pieces of amber in it. These samples have never been exhibited in the museum's display.

There will be an AR-application Museum of Amber working at the stand, that is a virtual tour of fossil organisms created specially for the Amber Museum. There will be also the new equipment for showing inclusions in amber – binocular and two microscopes available for all guests.

The exhibition works from 20 to 23 June within the forum working hours from 10.00 to 19.00. Admission is free of charge.
