On 9 November the exhibition of photographs of amber items from the Kaliningrad Regional Amber Museum collection is opening in the Kaliningrad Regional Scientific Library. These photos were submitted for the photography contest dedicated to the memory of Mia Brachert, wife of the famous German sculptor Hermann Brachert, for several years. Mia Brachert was an inspirer of the creative work made by her husband and his devoted assistant, at the same time she carried on photography professionally. It was her, who Alfred Rohde invited to create illustrations for his famous book "Amber. The German Material" (Berlin, 1937).
We are inviting you to visit the exhibition in the regional library until 2 December.
