N.Alekperova visiting the Amber Museum

President of the non-profit organization "Charity Foundation "LUKOIL"" Nelly Alekperova visited the Kaliningrad Regional Amber Museum.
Excursion through the permanent exposition for the guest was conducted by museum's director Tatyana Suvorova. International exhibition "Amber: Myths and Science" was presented by hte project curator, chief research associate Irina Polyakova. Irina Toropova, deputy director for research, curator of the exhibition "World of the French Jeweller", told about works of the Parisian jewellery artist Pierre-Marie Bernard and his collection of woman's jewellery of the 19–20th centuries. The tour through the museum was completed with introduction of the artworks from the solo exhibition of Kaliningrad amber artist Konstantin Bushmelyov and of the showpieces from the exhibition hall "Amber House", which were donated to the museum by president of "Charitable Programs Foundation" Evgeniy Tatuzov in 2013.
The guest was accompanied by director general of the non-profit organization "Charity Foundation "LUKOIL"" Igor Beketov and chief of public relations of LLC "LUKOIL-Kaliningradmorneft" Andrey Saltykov.
After the excursion Nelly Alekperova and Igor Beketov made an entry in "The Book of Guests of Honour" :
"With great attention and interest we became familiar with the unique museum's collection.
The exhibition "Amber: Myths and Science aroused particular interest. We found out incredible facts related to the medicinal application of the "sunstone". We are glad, that there are such people as E.Tatuzov, who caries on great traditions of Russian patrons of arts.
We will be glad to see works created by the admirable artist Konstantin Bushmelyov as part of the museum's collection.
