On 6 March in the Amber Museum, the Kenig-Tangoproject performs with a programme BUENASNOCHES, KALININGRAD! The group includes Elena Iurchenko (violin), Andrei Stepanenko (bandoneon), Olga Belskaia (pianoforte).

Give yourself this unforgettable night of argentine music. Languishing, a little nostalgic, but passionate and strong, as if with a wave of the magic wand, it will bring you to the atmosphere of cafes and bars of Buenos Aires – one of the most beautiful cities in South America, home of argentine tango, city of immigrants, football, and ocean sunsets. All this is possible due to the combination of traditional tango instruments. Penetrating, full of drama sounds of the bandoneon, singing of the violin, hitting accords of the piano, murmurous pace of contrabass – that is how magic of this music appears…

"Bandoneon was invented in Germany to accompany church services, however very soon it found itself in public houses of Buenos Aires", – told about it the great tango reformer A.Piazzolla. Passion and tenderness, earthly and sublime fused in the sound of this instrument.

On the concert programme – pieces by tango classics: Vitoldo, Aieta, Troilo, Gardel, A.Piazzolla. The city's only bandoneon is a pleasant surprise for the style admirers!
