В Музее 19 декабря в 17.00 открывается выставка «Современное авторское ювелирное искусство»

An exhibition "Contemporary Author Jewellery Art" from the collection of All-Russian Decorative-Applied and Folk Art Museum (Moscow) is opened in Kaliningrad Amber Museum on 19.00 at 17.00. There will be 272 works of famous jewellery artists from England, Spain, Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, France, Estonia presenten in the exhibition. These art pieces are an outstanding example of authors' masterful knowledge of colour, plastic, texture, form, composition principles.

Collection of the Moscow Museum includes works of artists of Soviet time, also of West European goldsmiths. It  is the most complete in its art diversity, ingenuity of creative design and is second to none in quality and quantity of innovations in jewellery art of the second half of the 20^th century on the territory of former USSR.

The collection of foreign authors' works was formed due to donations made by participants of intenational exhibitions and competitions comducted by the Moscow Museum since 1986. The rare collection shows uniqueness of every artist’s hand, great variety of art and style directions used in author jewellery art.
