On 8 February, Alexander Abanin passed away at the age of 69.
Veteran of labour, he served in the Internal Affairs Agencies for 30 years, awarded with the 1st degree medal "For the Honourable Service".
Since 2003, Alexander Abanin had been the Deputy Director for Administration and Maintenance of the Kaliningrad Regional Amber Museum. For the many years of his dedicated work, he had been distinguished with the Letter of Commendation of the Ministry of Culture of Kaliningrad oblast, the Letter of Appreciation from the governor of Kaliningrad oblast, the Letter of Commendation from the State Cultural Institution "Amber Museum".
Team of the Amber Museum is extending the heartfelt condolences to the relatives.
