Press Office of the Amber Museum
On 16 September, for the seventh time, the Amber Museum is participating in the international project "Ask a Curator" – unique action, that gives a chance for a dialog between museums and visitors.
If you still don't have an account on Twitter or Instagram – it's about time to create one, as on 16 September using hashtags #AskACurator and #СпросиКуратора, you will be able to address directly thousands of museums around the world. For 24 hours, museum employees are going to answer your questions – on kept collections, particular exhibits, nuances of museum job.
Many Russian museums also answer questions on vk.com.
To address a certain museum, it will be enough to mention its name in your message (for example, @ambermuseum) and put the hashtag #AskACurator.
All day long ask your our team any questions you are interested in: as how many objects there are in our collection, who is hired to work in the museum, how we select objects for an exhibition, or what we did during the quarantine. We will necessarily answer!
