We invite you to the lecture “Symbolism of Old Russian ornament” about pagan and Christian symbols in Old Russian architecture and works of decorative and applied art on 11 December at 16.00.
The lecture is held by the deputy director for research, art expert, candidate of pedagogical sciences Irina Toropova.
In the end – excursion through the exhibition “Women jewellery – beauty of the world” from the collection of Russian Museum of Ethnography (Saint Petersburg). There are adornments (headdresses, rings, earrings, belts, fibulas, etc.) of nations of Russia created in different time periods – beginning fro the 18th century till nowadays.


Entrance fee with possibility to visit exposition of the Amber Museum:

for students – 100 RUR
for schoolchildren – 80 RUR.
