Winners of the contest "Magic of Amber"

The contest of children's and youth creativity "Magic of Amber" takes place in our museum for the tenth time. This year over 200 works, made by students of schools of general education and art schools of the city and the region, have been submitted for the contest.

Works were considered by the jury consisting of:

• teacher of the highest category from the Kaliningrad Children Art School Kharko Valeria;
• artist, laureate of the Fifth International Festival for Young Artists "Art-Session" Zabelin Dmitrii;
• specialist in educational work from the Amber Museum Мedvedeva Maia.

Works were considered in three age groups – senior, middle, and junior, and in two categories – painting and drawing. Besides, the jury members awarded several works special diplomas.

This year, we've also decided to organise voting for the People's Choice Award. Until 2 February all guests of the exhibition "Magic of Amber" in the Amber House exhibition space can vote for the work they liked, and on 4 February we are going to sum up the results and award one more winner.
