Opening of the exhibition "Amber by Alexander Krylov"

There is series of icons made by Alexander Krylov at the exhibition in the Amber Museum. They were made in the technique of Florentine mosaic using amber, wood, bone, foil. These are "St. Nicholas the Wonderworker", "St. George the Conqueror", "The Royal Family",  "Panagia Portaitissa", a large triptych "Deisus tier" 2,5 meters wide and others. There are also sculptural portraits of the historical characters – Alexander Nevskiy, Salvador Dali, Leonardo da Vinci and others at the exhibition.

Interim minister of industrial policy, development of entrepreneurship and business Dmitriy Kuskov was at the opening ceremony and called the exhibition of Alexander Krylov "important vector of development of Kaliningrad oblast amber industry".

Marina Sergeeva, head of the Department for Development of Culture of the Ministry fro Culture and Tourism of Kaliningrad oblast, thanked the artist Alexander Krylov for his wish to exhibit his works at the museum.

The old partner of the Amber Museum, president of the foundation "Development of Charitable Programs" (Saint Petersburg) Evgeniy Tatuzov also spoke at the opening ceremony, his expressed his opinion on solving problems of amber industry, as well as complications in realization of the project "Amber Chambers".

Welcome to the exhibition "Amber by ALexander Krylov" until 1 October.
