Opening of the exhibition "Yaroslavl Tresures"

The Yaroslavl State Historical-Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve brought to the Kaliningrad Regional Amber Museum the most precious part of its collection – objects of ecclesiastical and folk art of the 17th – early 20th centuries.
90 unique artworks entered the exposition, among them there are liturgical vessels, details of icons ornaments, as well as pieces of traditional woman's festive costume.
Employees of the Yaroslavl Museum-Reserve presented the collection: director Natalia Levitskaya, chief custodian Vera Chebunina, senior research associate Alexey Zubatenko and designer Tatiana Pepelina.
Guests were greeted by the deputy director for research of the Amber Museum Irina Toropova, she expressed gratitude to the colleagues for the successful work.
Guests of the museum will be able to see showpieces of the exhibition "Yaroslavl Treasures" and connect with the history of Russian culture and religion until 11 February 2018.
