Opening of the photography exhibition

On 22 February the exhibition of art photography by Igor Sosedko "Amber – not as usual" was opened in the Amber Museum. In the exposition there are works, in which the Baltic gem is presented as an independent art object thanks to the author's techniques. 

Guests of the ceremony were directors of Kaliningrad museums, famous amber artists and representatives of the cultural community of the region. Director of the Kaliningrad Regional Amber Museum Tatiana Suvorova delivered a welcoming speech and emphasised that presentation of amber in various ways is the most important task of the museum. Such exhibitions extend the boundaries of our perception of one of the most ancient minerals.

The exhibition will work until 17 March.
