Our region will be presented with the museum's unique collection

Kaliningrad region will be presented with a unique collection from the Amber Museum and artworks of the Emelyanov and Sons Amber-Redwood Manufactory at the exposiion of Russian regions in the Olympic Park in Sochi.

The exhibition will have two stages: from 7 tо 23 February 2014 – during the Olympic Games  and from 7 tо 16 March – during the Paralympic Games. The exposition includes 47 works made of 'sunstone': carved pieces, jewellery, amber-incrusted furniture, also big Baltic gem specimens.

Visitors will be able to enjoy some master pieces of the gallery "Amber House" donated to the Amber Museum by the foundation "Development of Charity Programs" (Saint Petersburg), president of which is Evgeny Tatuzov. For instance, Retro-radio and Desk set created by Kaliningrad artist Yuriy Lopatkin, caskets made by Igor Bobko, Zhanna Lopatkina, Alexander Yuritsin and other works of our countrymen. There will be jewellery by Tamara Beletskaya, Natalia Lapinus, Lyudmila Sakharova demonstrated at the exhibition, as well as unique panel pictures and amber-incrusted furniture provided by the Emelyanov and Sons Amber-Redwood Manufactory .
