"Our Family in the Amber Museum"

On 3 and 17 December at 14.00 in the Kaliningrad Regional Amber Museum – Saturday family educational and entertaining programme within the project "Our Family in the Amber Museum.

Young visitors will find out, why New Year Tree was turned in ancient times, why it was prohibited to celebrate the New year for some time and how New Year decorations were changing in the course of time. Children will also watch fragments of the "winter" cartoons, participate in the all-winners "chocolate lottery", listen to the themed excursion through the exhibition "Dolls and Amber".

Together with parents, children will be able to show their acting abilities in the "momentary fairy-tale play" and take part in the workshop in creation of a New Year Tree decoration or a New Year souvenir for the memory about this visit to the museum
