Kaliningrad Amber Museum invites to the programme on the occasion of the International Jeweller's Day on 31 January at 16.00.

At 16.00 starts a lecture "From sketch to project". The deputy director for research of the Amber Museum, art expert, candidate of pedagogical sciences Irina Toropova will tell about specifics of jeweller's creative work, about materials, techniques and technologies  used in jewellery, about problems of artistic conception realization in works of decorative and applied art.

At 17.00 all comers are invited to the excursion "Jewellery mastery: traditions and innovations" through the exhibitions "Contemporary Jewellery Art" from the collection of All-Russian Museum of Decorative, Applied and Folks Art (Moscow) and "Kostroma Goldsmiths: history and modernity. Craft of Krasnoye Selo" from the collection of Kostroma State History-Architectural and Art Museum and Park. 

The thematical programme will be concluded with the workshop of jewellers. It will be conducted by leading specialists of Kaliningrad jewellery studio "Darvin"
