Awarding of winners of the First All-Russian Contest of Jewellery Art took place in the Amber Museum on 15 June.

First place in the category "Experiment" was given to Natalia and Alexey Petrovs from Moscow, they created ring and bracelet from paper. Nikolay Romanov from Nizhniy Tagil with his earrings "Brocade" (750 gold, diamonds, hot enamel) was declared the best in the category "Skill". Laureate title in the category "Mastery in the creation of artistic image" was given to Yuriy Bylkov from Saint Petersburg for the jewellery series "Ice" (cupronickel), jewellery set "Waft" (titanium), ring "To remember..." (wood, copper, cupronickel, paper).

Svetlana Subbotina from Kostroma with her plaques "Solbinsk stories" made of brass was declared winner in the jubilee category "Russian Glory" dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the Victory in the Patriotic War of 1812.

In addition to that, the jury established two special diplomas for outstanding jewellery artists of Russia Felix Kuznetsov (Moscow) and Gennady Bykov (Saint Petersburg) – for the contribution in development of the Russian jewellery art.
