"Multidimensionality of Form"

Exhibition "Multidimensionality of Form" is opened in the Kaliningrad Regional Amber Museum on 18 March at 17.00. The exposition will present works created by Kaliningrad artists Yuriy Sorokin and Grigoriy Chorniy at the enterprise "Alk" (Svetlogorsk).

Director general of the "Alk" company is Yuriy Pedorenko. Established by him in 1991, the enterprise produces souvenirs, decorative items and jewellery made of the Baltic gem. Both famous in Kaliningrad amber carvers, and starting artists are involved in the work with the sun stone. LLC CME "Alk" takes an active part in regional, Russian and international exhibitions.

Yuri Pedorenko was born on 3 July, 1964 in Kaliningrad. His love to the "sun stone" appeared in his childhood, and samples of Baltic amber with inclusions were of especial interest for him. This interest resulted in his private collection of inclusions that includes over three thousand samples.

The exhibition "Multidimensionality of Form" will work until 24 April 2016.
