The Amber Museum offers school students an interesting way to prepare for the winter holidays. Until the end of December we invite them to come to our :New year Decoration Workshop".
Children will find out why a New Year Tree was hanged upside down in ancient times, when and why it was prohibited to celebrate the New Year and how New Year Tree decorations have been changing over the time; they will also watch fragments of the Soviet New Year cartoons, and then create their own New Year souvenir for the memory of the visit to the museum. The session is conducted by prior registration for groups over 10 people.
One person ticket price – 100 RUB.
