Concert "The Charm of Russian Serenade"

On 28 February, a music night "The Charm of Russian Serenade" takes place in the Amber Museum.
Irina Diachenko (violoncello) and Tatiana Prilepskaia (pianoforte) are going to play and sing serenades, nocturnes, and romances by national composers – P.Tchaikovsky, A.Glazunov, C.Cui, M.Balakirev, A.Borodin, S.Rachmaninov, A.Skriabin.
The music night will be started with a guided tour at the exhibition of the Russian ethnographic costume from the private collection of Svetlana Lebedeva.
Irina Danchenko (violoncello) is laureate of regional contests in Kaliningrad and Moscow. She graduated with honours from the S.Rachmaninov Kaliningrad Regional Music College and Gnessins Russian Academy of Music (Moscow). She was a soloist in the chamber and symphonic orchestras in Sevastopol, Kaliningrad, also a concertmaster of the ensemble of violoncellists "Miniature". She successfully played on tour as a solo performer, and in as part of ensembles in the cities of Russia, France, Poland, Germany, Italy, and Sweden. Now she works as accompanist and teacher in the S.Rachmaninov Kaliningrad Regional College, R.Glier and D. Shostakovich Children Music Schools. She successfully combines her teaching activity with the concert work.
Tatiana Prilepskia (pianoforte) is a graduate of S. Prokofiev Donetsk Music Academy, accompanist in the S.Rachmaninov Kaliningrad Regional Music College. She has been awarded diplomas of Russian and international contest and festivals in Russia and Bulgaria.
The concert starts at 19.00.
