The scientific and practical conference "Mass Events as a Regioan Development Factor" was held from 12 to 13 November in Moscow. Over 90 representatives of federal, regioanl and municipal cultural institutions, ministries, divisions and committees from different Russian cities participated in the event. Spokesperson from the Kaliningrad region was head of the Department for Scientific-Educational and Museum-Educational Activities of the Amber Museum Oksana Pupisheva.

Six sections worked at the conference. There were made 20 reports on organisation and successful realization of mass events, interesting from the point of view of the positive organisation experience using, reasonable and rational use of mass media, advertising and PR- technologies by organizing spectacular mass festivities.
