31 January 2017
Press Office of the Amber Museum
From 31 January to 26 February, guests of the Amber Museum will be able to see the original etching with the map of Prussia created by the German scientist Sebastian Münster (1489–1552).
This oldest document of Prussian mapping is remarkable because of the inscription which was placed by the map-maker in the area of the Sambia Peninsula: "Amber is found here".
