Forum of the Amber Industry

Kaliningrad Regional Amber Museum will participate in the First Economic Forum of the Amber Industry in Russian Federation, which is held from 6 to 8 October in the variety theater "Yantar-Hall" in Svetlogorsk. Organizer of the event is JSC "Kaliningrad Amber Combine".

Central idea of the forum – amber industry as Russian national brand. Among the goals of the event, there are demonstration and discussing of the latest tendencies and inventions in the sphere of amber mining and processing, new vectors of its usage and markets. One of the priorities in programme preparation is the possibility to show the area as many-sided and involving many layers and stages of growth at the same time. Themed blocks will be shaped according to the most significant direction of development of the industry.

The forum will include business programme and themed exposition. Main events of the forum will be held within the business programme: plenary session, themed round tables and expert sessions, seminars and workshops, public lectures.

The exhibition aims to be a platform for effective interaction between government, business and customers, it will be open for wide interested public. Guests will be able to get acquainted with Russian and foreign latest technologies in amber industry and its products, professionals of the industry will find out about the emerging trends and exchange their experience. Exposition will be divided into some themed blocks.

Main guests of the forum events will be representatives of business structures and federal and regional state agencies, as well as interested participants from Russia and other countries.

The event is supported by the state company "Rostec" and Government of Kaliningrad oblast. Supervisory board of the forum is chaired by the director general of Rostec – Sergey Chemezov.
