On 18 September, for the sixth time, the Amber Museum takes part in the international project "Ask a curator" – the unique action that creates the possibility of a dialog between museums and their guests. If you still do not have a Twitter or Instagram account, it is the time to make one. Because on 18 September, using a hashtag #askacurator, you will be able to address thousands of museums around the whole world. Within 24 hours, members of the museums' teams will answer questions – about kept collections, curtain showpieces, details of the museum work.

Many Russian museums also use Vk.com to answer the questions. To address a curator of a certain museum, you should just put its name in your message (for example, @ ambermuseum) and hashtag #askacurator.

All day long, please, ask our team members any questions of your interest, like: how many showpieces there are in the museum, who gets hired to the museum, how we choose items for an exhibition, or which of our art works we would take to a desert island. We will give you answers!
