Exhibition "Journey to the Art"

Another exhibition under the title "Journey to the Art" has been prepared by the Amber Museum for the time of the end of the quarantine.
Students and teachers from the Department for Decorative, Applied Arts and Folk Crafts of the College of Entrepreneurship (until 2019 – Kaliningrad Art and Industrial College) are going to present their works.
The Kaliningrad Art and Industrial College was established on the basis of the Quartz factory in 1966. In the result of reorganisation of some state educational institutions in Kaliningrad region in 2019, it was joined to the College of Entrepreneurship. The Department for Decorative, Applied Arts and Folk Crafts, which was opened in 1992, provides teaching in the following specialties: decorative-applied arts and folk crafts (lacquer miniature and wood painting), design (landscape, interior, industrial, graphic). Annually, this department educates specialists as wood painting artist, graphic designer, jeweller.
Annual exhibitions of works made by student and teachers from the Department for Decorative-Applied Arts and Folk Crafts have been organised in the Kaliningrad Regional Amber Museum since 2012. Becoming traditional, they show creative achievements of teachers and students of the college to the wide audience and, possible, they will inspire today's school children to learn arts and crafts.
This year, there are jewellery pieces, household sets, interior objects. They are decorated based on Gorodets, Mezen, Petrikovka, Palekh, Polkhovy Maidan, Ural, Khokhloma paintings.
