All_Russian contest "Russian Volunteer 2019"

On 20th March All-Russian contest "Russian Volunteer 2019" started, in aims at development and shaping the culture of volunteering in our country. The contest's goal is to discover, spread and support the best volunteering practices, to improve competences of associations' leaders, to provide media support to voluntary projects.

The contest is held in three categories: "A kind did", "Creative work", and "Social project". The contest's category "Social project" has 12 nominations for persons (age groups until 18 years, and elder than 18 years), and 2 nominations for volunteer organisations (associations).

Winners of the contest will receive grants for realisation of their projects in amount up to 2 million rubles, the total grant funding in 2019 is 45 million rubles.

Stages of the contest:

1) application campaign – 20 March – 16 June 2019 – submission of applications at the добровольцыроссии.рф;

2) distance stage – 17-30 June 2019 – evaluation of contest tasks made by participants in their personal accounts at добровольцыроссии.рф;

3) semi-final – 1 July – 13 October – face-to-face projects review, participation in an educational programme;

4) final stage – 14 October – 10 November – evaluation of the applications by federal jury, national voting for applications;

5) winners awarding – within all-Russian voluntary forum in Moscow in December.
