Kaliningrad region will be presented with a unique collection from the Amber Museum and artworks of the Emelyanov and Sons Amber-Redwood Manufactory at the expositon of Russian regions in the Olympic Park in Sochi.
Viitors of the exhibition got as a present a piece of amber with name or olympic symbolics engraved by Kaliningead artist Lyudmila Visotskaya. A workshop in amber working was conducted for all comers.
The exhibition has two stages: from 7 tо 23 February 2014 – during the Olympic Games and from 7 tо 16 March – during the Paralympic Games. The exposition includes 47 works made of 'sunstone': carved pieces, jewellery, amber-incrusted furniture, also big Baltic gem specimens.
