Opening of the exhibition "Kaliningrad Amber Combine: yesterday, today tomorrow" took place in Kaliningrad Amber Museum. Exposition works until 17 November 2013.

The exhibition is a retrospective view of the unique enterprise's production, which has been extracting amber industrialy scince 1947. Items under the trademark "Amber Combine" are created by the subsidary company "Yantarny Yuvelirprom" today that produces commercial pieces and semises made of amber - over 800 items.

Bijouterie, jewellery from silver with amber, souvenirs - traditional kinds of combine's production. Permanent creative pursuit of its artists allows to make new contemporary collections. fresh ideas, designer catches, skill of jewellers help the enterprise to have steadfast stance in jewellery market of almost every region of Russian federation - from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok. Contacts are established also with foreign countries.

Except for samples of mass production there are author works presented in the exhibition created by artists, who cooperate closely with the combine - Vladimir Litvinko, Evgeny Parkhomenko, Konstantin Bushmelyov, Tamara Beletskaya and other Kaliningrad authors.
