The solo exhibition by Kaliningrad artist Vyacheslav Mishin “Adornments with meaning” is taking place in Kaliningrad amber museum from 31 May till 23 June. About 90 articles are exhibited there: jewellery, interior objects. Vyacheslav Mishin was born in 1944. He finished the school № 5 in Kaliningrad,  then he graduated from Kazan State University specializing in "radiophysics and electronics". He worked at the Kaliningrad research and production association of commercial fishing. He attended a creative iron work course by Pavel Ivanov in the Regional Folk Art House. Since 1987 he had been searching for his own style in making jewellery and interior objects with amber. He took part in the exhibitions. Since 1993 Vyacheslav has been a member of the Russian Artists' Union.

Awards:

2004 – award at the Second Regional Contest of Amber Articles "Alatyr 2004", Kaliningrad Amber Museum, Russia;

2006-2010 – award at the exhibition "Amber of the Baltic", exhibition centre "Baltic-Expo", Kaliningrad, Russia;

2006 – award at the Contest "Amber Fancy" in the nomination "Interior Articles" within the Jewellery Exhibition "Amber of the Baltic", exhibition centre "Baltic-Expo", Kaliningrad, Russia;

2008 – award at the Contest "Amber Renaissance" within the Jewellery Exhibition "Amber of the Baltic", exhibition centre "Baltic-Expo", Kaliningrad, Russia.
