It has become a good tradition to present works of French artists in the Kaliningrad Amber Museum. This year, the fourth exhibition within the project "Violet Street: from Paris to Kaliningrad" is held. It takes place from 28 August to 1 September (opening – on 28 August at 18.00). During this time (for only 5 days!), residents and guests of Kaliningrad will be able to see and appreciate the works that are a bright illustration of contemporary trends in the world of French fashion and even to buy the ones they like.

There will be adornments (including fantasy bijouterie) made of different materials – metal, ceramics, stone, glass, wood. Elegant pieces were created using old techniques and modern technologies by French masters – members of the association "Un jour, un artisan...", that was founded and has been led by its president Jean-Claude Guillemot. All these works will surely arouse interest of the public as they are made in a unique copy or in small series, they show the high level of professionalism, refined taste and individual style of every artist. Within these days, visitors of the Amber Museum will be given an opportunity to talk to the artists of the association, who will present their works, tell about used techniques and technologies, motives and images, also help to find an exclusive jewellery set to the dress.

On 30 August at 19.00, a French Accent Night takes place in the Amber Museum. During the event, you will be able not only talk to the French guests about their creative work, but also listen to the French songs performed by the Kaliningrad trio "Paris", take part in decoupage and floristics workshops, as well as in the quiz on the history and culture of France, watch fashion shows of clothing and accessories created by Kaliningrad designers, get a piece of advice from perfumers, taste French wine that made glory to this wonderful country.
