"My Reality"

The exhibition "My Reality" opens on 3 November at 19.00 in the Kaliningrad Regional Amber Museum within the programme "The Night of Arts", occasioned with the National Day of Unity. There are sketches of works of decorative and applied art and interior created by the Kaliningrad graphic artist, designer Igor Isaev presented in the esposition.

Igor Isaev was born in 1959 in Kaliningrad. In 1981 he graduated from the Faculty of industrial aesthetics and design of the Belarusian State Theatre and Art Institute in Minsk. In 1983-1985 he worked as a head of the industrial design group at the Minsk Automobile Plant. In 1988 he began to work in the Kaliningrad branch of the Art Fund of the RSFSR. 

In 1996 the Institute of World Literature of the Russian Academy of Sciencesincluded Igor Isaev on the register of the best Russian illustrators, whose creative work will be featured in the academic fundamental history of Russian culture of the 20th century. Since 1998 Igor Isaev has been a member of the Artists' Union of Russia. In 2006 he received the International Grant of the Kunstlerhaus Lucas (Germany).

Works of the artist are in collections of the Kaliningrad Art Gallery, Guild of Artists Gallery (Ellingen, Germany), private collections.
