Programme "Casket with Jewels"

On 30 January is the reduce-price admission day for people of the retirement age. There will be an interactive programme "Casket with Jewels", including a tell about the traditional women's and men's head dresses, adornments of different nations of Russia, an interactive game and a workshop. Our guests will find our, why Russian girls presented adornments to their grooms, what for one can wear 8 kg of pendants, and if a flint box is a piece of jewellery.

The event is held at the exhibition "Kabardia. From Ancientry to Nowadays" from the collection of the National Museum of  the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic. The exposition presents accoutrement, weapons of the knights, historical reconstruction of the Adyghe costumes, accessories decorated with gold embroidery and jewellery by Adyghe craftsmen characterised by originality of ornamental compositions, diversity and perfect technique of execution.

The meetings take place every last Wednesday of the month at 16.00.

The reduced-price ticket to the programme and for all exhibitions – 20 rubles (by showing the pension ID).
