The donator is Irina Holstein from Germany. The gift was accompanied with a letter containing warm words and kind wishes for the museum.
"I have never been in Kaliningrad, but I have heard a lot and have seen your web-page on the Internat with great interest. It is incredible, what you have at the museum! It is stunning!
Тhree years ago I was on the Rügen Island. One wonderful morning after a storm I was lucky to collect some small amber pieces on the shore, they shone so brightly in the sun! Of course, it is no comparison to your showpieces, but that was nice".
The Amber Museum's administration and team are grateful to Mrs Holstein. The book will take a rightfull place in the museum's library.
