Opening of the exhibition

A private collector Georgy Fomin gave to the museum objects for exhibiting – natural pieces and carved works. Each showpiece is connected with some memorable event and keeps precious family recollections. From 22 February to 25 March the exhibition is open for visitors.

At the opening ceremony the Deputy Director for Research of the museum Irina Toropova mentioned that such way of collection organization shows amber as a family value. It upraises common events and fills life with higher meanings.

We are inviting residents and guests of Kaliningrad to get acquainted with the presented works.
