Press Office of the Amber Museum
Kaliningrad Regional Amber Museum invites to the programme "O-la-la!" prepared within the exhibition "World of the French Jeweller" on 23 October at 16.00. There are works of the Parisian artist Pierre-Marie Bernard, photographs, sketches and drafts of the artist, as well as items of the 19–20th centuries from his collection in the exposition.
On the programme:
16.00 – excursion through the exhibition "World of the French Jeweller";
16.10 – themed quest through the exhibition;
16.30 – quiz "Astonishing France";
16.40 – workshon on creation of the paper Eiffel Tower.
Pierre-Marie Bernard is a French master, whose home region is Poitou. In this regard there are pieces illustrating evolution of jewellery fashion of this historical region of France from the artist's collection in the exhibition. Besides the exposition presents jewellery instruments used by three generations of watch-makers and jewellers of the Bernard Family. The exhibition gives guests of the museum the opportunity to find out more about jewellery, jewellery materials and ways of their treatment. .
