"The Night of Arts"

"The Night of Arts" coinsided with the National Day of Unity was held on 3 November 2015 in the Kaliningrad Regional Amber Museum.

All museum's expositions were opened for visitors.

Meet-the-artist-event with the author – Kaliningrad writer Valentina Solovyova, laureate of the regional award "Renown" 1997 and presentation of her fairy-tale book for children's theater "Secret of the Sunstone" took place.

This evening a new exhibition "My Reality" was opened, which presents sketches of decorative and applied art and interior objects created by the Kaliningrad designer and graphic artist Igor Isaev.

Irina Toropova, candidate of pedagogical sciences, art expert, deputy director for research of the Amber Museum made a lecture "Sketch in Jewellery Art" and then accompanied the guests through the exhibition "World of the French Jeweller" – works of the Parisian jeweller Pierre-Marie Bernard and his collections of jewellery instruments of the 19–20th centuries and jewellery from the historical region Poitou, France.

The night was concluded with the piano concert performed by the soloist of the E.F.Svetlanov Kaliningrad Regional Philharmonic Hall, laureate of the international contest Anna Ushakova.

There was also a quizz "Laboratory of Images for guests, everybody who wanted could participate in the workshop in creation of a paper volumetric form "The Star of Wishes" or make an individual quest through the permanen exposition of the museum.
