On 24 May in the Amber Museum, there will be a presentation of the new programme “The Comeback” by a male chamber choir “IMAGE” («ЛИКЪ») supervised by the creative director Aleksandr Khainovskii.

The title of the programme is connected with the revival of the genre of male choirs singing in Kaliningrad. Male voices chants are related to the history of the choir art in Russ. Since the ancient times, it has been an important part of church services. In the secular music culture, it was also popular – male voices sounded at festivities performing many-voiced choir songs: plangent folk, dance, military songs...

The group resumes the active concert and creative work with a new team. On the programme, there will be sacred music, national songs, legends, romantic songs.

Soloists are the Honoured Artist of Russia Nikolai Gorlov (baritone), Mikhail Lishaev (tenor), Fiodor Shirko (baritone), dance accompaniment - Sergei Chernykh.
