Music night "Charm of Romanic Songs"

On 13 December, guests of the music night in the Amber Museum will be able to dive into the beautiful world of Russian romantic songs and enjoy elegance of the poetry. The vocal duet "A Step to Meet"​ – Tatina Slobodskikh (vocal, guitar) and Elena Uryupina (flute) will perform in the Amber Museum. The musicians will play and sing the famous pieces: "Honey, amethyst" ("Медовый, аметистовый"), "Long finished blossoming golden daisies in the garden" ("Отцвели уж давно хризантемы в саду"), "We are just acquainted" ("Мы только знакомы"), "I was going home" ("Я ехала домой"), "There are meetings only once in a lifetime" ("Только раз бывают в жизни встречи"), and many others.

We can relate to the sincerity, simplicity, kindness typical of the romantic songs also today. Some masterpieces, that have lost names of their authors over the course of time, are still loved by listeners. Combination of the duet of the voice with the flute and the accompanying guitar is not characteristic of this genre. However lyricism and softness of the sound create the romantic and soulful atmosphere.

At the concerts by the duet "A Step to Meet", guests not only listen, but often also sing the known romantic songs together with the musicians..
