"Peaceful May" in the Amber Museum

Within the project "The Night of Museums", Kaliningrad Regional Amber Museum offered a programme "Peaceful May" to its guests. Visitors could get acquainted with the current museum expositions, as well as with the exhibitions from collections of museums of the Border Service Administration of Russian Federal Security Service and Kaliningrad Military Institute of the Border Service. There was an exhibition of quadricycles from the company "Baltmotors". There were concerts of the military Orchestra of Staff Office of the Baltic Fleet under direction of lieutenant-colonel R.Ivanov, orchestra of the Kaliningrad Military Institute of the Border Service of Russian Federal Security Service under direction of major A.Klochkov, ensemble of soloists of the Kaliningrad Regional Orchestra of Russian National Instruments (art supervisor and director A.Stepanenko), ensemble of folk singing and dancing of the Border Service Administration of Russian Federal Security Service in Kaliningrad oblast (art director E.Michurin).

Students of the 10th grade of the Kaliningrad school No 45 and students of cadet classes of Gurievsk school No 1 performed with literary, art and theatrical compositions to the military theme.

Guests of the museum could watch movies about wartime, take momentary photos in the "FotoFocus" photo booth, participate in workshops in weapons stripping-down and reassembly, triangle-letters making, decrypting the Morse code, make a quest through the museum's exposition, sample courses of the "Field Kitchen" from the cafe "By the Bulls".

The celebration was concluded with setting-up of the Banner of Victory on the Dohna Tower and fire show by the extreme club "Baltic Raven" (leader Pavel Krasnoshchokov).
