On 28–30 July 2017 the international economic forum of amber industry "Amberforum – 2017" is taking place in the theater "Amber Hall" in Svetlogorsk. AO "Kaliningrad Amber Combine" is organizing the event, which is supported by the Administration of Kaliningrad oblast. The Amber Museum is participating in the exhibition with the showpieces from its collection. Forum visitors will see the famous amber panel "Rus" by Alexander Zhuravlyov (1943–2009), a unique work that has no analogs in the world, as well as mosaic portraits of historic characters.
Within the business programme on 29 July a round table "Amber in the culture of South-East Baltics and Ancient Rus", director of the Amber Museum Tatiana Suvorova will modarate it.
