May programme "When the Soul Is Young"

Guests will get acquainted with the museum's permanent exhibition telling about extraction and properties of amber, as well as with legends of its origin, which were being composed by different nations for thousands of years.

Everyone who wants will be able to stay for a creative workshop in thaumatrope making, illustrating one of the amber legends. Thaumatrope is a toy based on an optic illusion: while fast turning a small piece of paper with two drawings made on different sides of it, they are perceived as one whole image. 

The programme starts at 16.00.
