Workshop within the ARTel youth project

Big sparkling jewellery made of beads and strasses have been in top trends for several seasons in a row. Some masters reach huge successes in the beads craft, their works are worn by celebrities, their photos are published in fashion magazines. Adornments in the form of insects, birds and lipstick cases are especially loved by girls.

If you also want to try your creative power and become owner of a bright accessory, we are inviting you to the workshop in the Amber Museum. Its participants will create a fashionable brooch using beads together with the studio "Bijooo_39". It is a young brand which specializes in making adornments using Japanese beads, Swarovski crystals and Czech bugles.

Interesting that beads works were quite wide spread in the time of Ancient Rus. In the exhibition "Yaroslavl Treasures" ,which is currently exposed in the Amber Museum, there are icon settings, head dresses and earrings embroidered with beads, small pearls and precious stones. Items created in the 17h – 19th centuries look rather modern. Excursion through the exhibition organized within the project will help young masters to find new creative ideas.
