"Violet Village" in Paris

On 23-25 June 2016, Kaliningrad artists will take part in the Sixth International Show of Arts and Crafts "Violet Village" in Paris. The opportunity to show their professional skills and designer works to the Parisian public this year has been got by Galina Syromyatnikova, jewellery artist working with amber and Tamara Kireeva, leader of the designer atelier "Valerie" that creates unique fashion and fur accessories collections using the "sunstone".

The project is initiated by the association "Once, an artist.." ("Un jour, un artisan...") supported by the mayor's office of the 15th district of Paris. This time the "Violet Village" will be located in the Boulevard de Grenelle, next to the subway station La Motte Picquet Grenelle. The Arts and Crafts Show will be opened by the mayor of the 15th district Mr. Philippe Goujon.

Around 50 masters from Mexico, which will be a guest of honor, Belgium, England, Iran, Japan, Vietnam will participate in the event, Russia will be represented by three cities – Moscow, Kaliningrad, Kirov.
