"Amber falsifications and imitations"

A new series of lectures is commencing in the Amber Museum – "Amber in science and artistic culture". The first lecture takes place on 28 March at 16.00, it will be held to the theme that won't leave you indifferent – to falsifications and imitations of amber. The museum's leading research associate Zoia Kostiashova is going to tell, how many centuries ago the first counterfeits appeared, what they are made of today, and how to tell apart natural amber from the fake one.
