Paper presentation at the seminar on amber in Warsaw

Main amber expert of the Kaliningrad oblast, leading research associate of the Kaliningrad Amber Museum, member of the World Amber Council (Gdansk,Poland), owner of the title "Amber Personality 2016" established by the International Amber Union (Gdansk,Poland) took part at the seminar that was held at the Museum of the Earth of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw on 17 November 2017.

Zoya Kostyashova presented a paper on the contemporary state of the amber industry in Kaliningrad oblast "Amber of Sambia – extraction, treatment, cultural events and tourism".

Scientists from Poland and Russia took part at the seminar. There were famous specialists in the sphere of amber and amber inclusions among them, including Professor, Dr. hab. Barbara Kosmowska-Ceranowicz, Dr.hab. Aniela Matuszewska and Dr.hab. Weclaw Krzeminski.
