Jeweller's Day in the Amber Museum

Events dedicated to the International Jeweller's Day took place in the Kaliningrad Regional Amber Museum. This Day has been celebrated since 31 January 2002.
Guests of the museum could see and purchase adornments at the jewellery fair, in which jewellery studio "Darvin", creative association "Prussian Honey", Kaliningrad artists took part. There were lectures "Creative destinies. Israel Rukhomovsky", "Timeless" themes in jewellery art: peacocks" held within the special programme. They were conducted by the deputy director for research of the Amber Museum, art expert, candidate of pedagogical sciences Irina Toropova. The expert on jewellery made of non-precious materials Irena Volova told about vintage jewellery. And presentations of the creative association "Prussian Honey", jewellery house "Aesthet", jewellery studio "Darvin" took place, as well as meet-the-artist-event with Kaliningrad jewellery artist Galina Syromyatnikova.
