Action for the International Human Solidarity Day

The International Human Solidarity Day has been celebrated since 2006, it was established by the General Assembly of the United Nations in the resolution dedicated to the first United Nations Decade for the Eradication of Poverty. The resolution says that solidarity will be one of the human fundamental values in the 21st century. People depend on each other, they need help. Human solidarity is a necessary condition for revelation of a single individual. The International Human Solidarity Day is being covered by every mass media including articles in the magazines, speeches at the official events, posts in the web-blogs of independent persons, groups and interested organizations. There is an emblem of the United Nations – projection of the Earth centered at the Northern Pole, which unites all continents except Antarctica, and four concentric circles featuring levels of longitude – on documents and materials aiming to promote the Day. The projection is encircled with olive branches symbolizing the world.

The Amber Museum has decided to announce a special action for the International Human Solidarity Day. Every two visitors can enter the museum by one ticket after telling the password "friendship". A ticket with the higher price should be paid for.
