The Third Regional Contest of Photography dedicated to Mia Brachert

Aiming to preserve historic and cultural heritage of the region, the Kaliningrad Amber Museum is proposing to photo artists, like Mia Brachert, to create a series of images of amber items.
M.Brachert – wife of the famous German sculptor Hermann Brachert – marked a place for herself in the history as photographer. It was she, Alfred Rohde invited to create illustrations for his famous book "Amber. The German Material" (Berlin, 1937).
